The Mexican entertainment world is in mourning following the confirmation of the passing of one of the national cinema Golden Age's most iconic and beautiful figures. In addition, the television scene is shaken by unprecedented revelations about a highly anticipated return to the small screen and emotional confessions of past love. Discover in this video all the details of the tributes and statements that are sparking conversation.

Mexican cinema and television say goodbye to Elsa Aguirre, one of the most renowned actresses considered among the most beautiful faces of the big screen. Born on September 25, 1930, in Chihuahua, the performer launched her career in 1946 with the film *El sexo fuerte*. Throughout the 1950s, she graced cinema marquees in productions such as *Lluvia roja*, *Una mujer decente*, and *La mujer que yo amé*, sharing credits with stars like Pedro Infante, Jorge Negrete, and Ignacio López Tarso, as well as consolidating her success in telenovelas such as *Acapulco, cuerpo y alma* and *Mujeres engañadas*.

Recipient of the Golden Ariel in 2003 and honored at the Cineteca Nacional in November 2023, the actress passed away at her home in Cuernavaca, leaving behind the memory of an active life focused on good nutrition and the practice of yoga. In previous interviews, Aguirre shared a profound perspective on death, comparing it to a seed that must die so that a beautiful tree may be born, and asserting that energy does not end, but rather transforms. In that same context, she fondly recalled her impossible love for Ignacio López Tarso during the filming of *Vainilla, bronce y morir* in 1957.

On the other hand, current Mexican television news brought updates with statements from producer José Alberto "El Güero" Castro, who confirmed the completion of filming for the telenovela *Tierra de amor y coraje*. The filmmaker highlighted the great chemistry achieved by the cast—composed of Emmanuel, Brandon, Emilio Osorio, and Sergio Goyri—expressing his enthusiasm for the story's upcoming premiere on the small screen.

Regarding rumors pointing to a biographical series and Angélica Rivera's return to acting, Castro noted that he does not rule out working with her as soon as he has an appropriate story in hand. Likewise, the producer took the opportunity to express his pride in his nephew Cristian Castro, who completed his high school studies, and revealed that he is preparing a new project designed for actress Victoria Ruffo's return to melodramas.
